With high-density mandrel, the quality is easy to detect, and the smaller surface area of the core wire makes it have a longer shelf life, and can minimize the calcium oxide impurities that pollute the molten steel;


More uniform calcium content per meter and higher and more stable active calcium content to ensure more stable calcium treatment effect;


Thicker outer steel shell and high-density pure calcium mandrel can feed calcium to deeper parts of molten steel and stay below the critical depth for a longer time, so as to achieve higher calcium recovery rate;

Applications of Pure Calcium Cored Wire

There are various uses for seamless pure calcium cored wire in the production of steel.

 

Deoxidation

Melted steel is deoxidized using Pure Calcium Cored Wire. It interacts with the oxygen in the steel to lower the oxygen concentration and enhance the quality and characteristics of the steel.


Desulfurization

Melted steel can also be desulfurized with the wire. When it reacts with sulphur, the sulphur concentration decreases and the cleanliness and machinability of the steel are enhanced.

Inclusion Removal

When it comes to extracting inclusions from molten steel, pure calcium cored wire is helpful. Non-metallic impurities called inclusions may have an impact on the mechanical characteristics of steel. The wire helps create calcium sulphide and oxide, which can be used to capture and eliminate these impurities from the steel.

Steel Treatment

Steel that has been corroded by aluminium is treated using pure calcium cored wire. It contributes to changing the inclusion composition of the steel and raising its general quality.

Cost Reduction
