Silicon Aluminum Barium Alloy

Silicon-barium alloy is an iron alloy with high activity and strong reducibility. It is used as a deoxidizer and desulfurizer in steelmaking, and as an inoculant in casting. Adding in steelmaking can reduce the occurrence of smoke and flame, change the nature and distribution of non-metallic inclusions in steel, and improve the processing performance of metal chips. Used in casting production, it shows good resistance to decay and reduces the sensitivity of section. It is a long-acting and efficient inoculant in the production of cast iron. The use of silicon-barium alloy is better than pure aluminum, ferrosilicon, silicon-calcium and other single alloys, and the cost is lower.

Silicon aluminum barium calcium use

Silica-aluminum-barium calcium has low solubility in molten steel, and can dissolve calcium and reduce calcium vapor pressure. In silica-aluminum-barium calcium, it can fully improve the role of calcium in deoxidation and nonmetallic inclusion treatment. High efficiency deoxidizer is an auxiliary material for steelmaking. It is suitable for many kinds of deoxidation in steel making, especially in converter. It has strong deoxidation and desulfurization effect, can improve the flow performance of molten steel well, and solve the problem of nodule at the water mouth. Reduce gas in steel and liquid steel inclusions.

 

 

Standard Packing

Typical bulk packaging includes palletized plastic 5 gallon/25 kg. pails, fiber and steel drums to 1 ton super sacks in full container (FCL) or truck load (T/L) quantities. Research and sample quantities and hygroscopic, oxidizing or other air sensitive materials may be packaged under argon or vacuum. Solutions are packaged in polypropylene, plastic or glass jars up to palletized 440 gallon liquid totes Special package is available on request.
