During the casting process, rare earth magnesium silicon alloy effectively promotes graphite spheroidization and improves graphite morphology. This results in a more uniform and finer distribution of spheroidal graphite, significantly enhancing the strength, toughness, and ductility of castings. Simultaneously, rare earth elements possess strong binding capabilities toward harmful impurities like sulfur and oxygen in molten iron, thereby purifying the iron and reducing inclusions. This contributes to stable production processes and improved yield rates.
